In addition to being CEO of PurePath Wealth, Hugh “Hobby” Barndollar is one of the firm’s owners. PurePath Wealth helps clients (families and individuals) achieve their ideal retirements. They do so by offering various services and a more holistic approach to financial planning. As CEO, part owner, and Investment Advisor, Hugh “Hobby” Barndollar is passionate about helping his clients achieve all their financial goals. Hugh “Hobby” Barndollar’s specialties are tax planning, income planning, and Social Security planning. His goal is to make financial plans that are comprehensive, holistic, and easy to understand. One of Hugh’s most significant responsibilities at PurePath Wealth is handling all the compliance issues. He is also responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business. 

As a financial expert in the business world, it is expected for Hugh “Hobby” Barndollar to maintain specific certifications. He has his life, health, and annuity licenses. Likewise, Hugh passed the Series 7, 63, 24, and 65 securities exams. Before Hugh could earn these certifications, he first had to earn a degree. Hugh attended Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. Here he double majored in Marketing and Management. Following this, he attended Georgia State University to earn his MBA in finance.

In addition to the above achievements, Hugh “Hobby” Barndollar is part-owner of HotRocks Pizza. HotRocks Pizza was founded by Denny and Marvin, two firefighters with over twenty years of cumulative experience. Their time as firefighters, surprisingly, helped promote their love of food. It was only natural that the two went into business together. It took even less effort to convince Hugh to join in on the venture as one of the business owners. HotRocks Pizza proudly serves Philadelphia-style pizzas.

Hugh “Hobby” Barndollar was lucky enough to learn about business from his father. This gave him an early start in life, motivating him to dream big from a young age. Since then, he has worked hard to build trusting relationships with other families – just like his father would have. 

When on the clock, Hugh “Hobby” Barndollar is a hard worker. You’ll never find him slacking, as providing top service comes first. However, when he isn’t working, Hugh enjoys many hobbies. His time in college promoted his love of soccer, as he was a member of the men’s soccer team for all four years he attended college. As an adult, he enjoys coaching baseball as a hobby. When not on the field, Hugh be found spending time with his family or attending church. Hugh “Hobby” Barndollar has been blessed with a wife and four children. Having four children consumes most of his time, as they all have their own passions, such as sports, theatre, and music.
